Grains, Spices, Rice, Flours, Oils
Often grown with harmful pesticides and high in heavy metals. By the time they reach your shelf, they've passed through multiple middlemen - the end product is often years old, not fresh, and you know nothing about the farming practices.
Plant Milks
Mostly oil and water mixed with gums, thickeners and emulsifiers to fake the mouthfeel of dairy. They contain 2-10% of the actual nut or grain. Nutritionally hollow - no meaningful protein or fibre.
We want to make one that's functional - protein and fiber in a single drink.
Breads & Tortilla Wraps
Often palm oil-based, with softness achieved through dough conditioners, mono- and diglycerides, and preservatives.
Protein Powders & Wellness Supplements
Independent testing across major brands has found lead, BPA, added sugars, pesticide residues, and other contaminants. Often have vague health claims.
High Protein Wheat Alternate Pasta (Chickpea, Lentil)
Wheat pasta is widely avoided for health reasons. Chickpea and lentil alternatives are a nutritional upgrade - but most use gums and binders to hold their shape, and independent testing has found glyphosate residues in leading brands.
